As you continue to move forward, your attention is pulled in multiple directions. You're navigating competing priorities, new opportunities, complex relationships and the ongoing demands of work and life.
These are not necessarily problems to solve. They are part of what it means to lead, create and be responsible for something that matters.
The question is how you meet them — where you place your energy, how you move forward, and who you want to be in the role you occupy.
I help you find the solid ground underneath it all. My work sits at the intersection of the person and the role they are being asked to inhabit.
I work with leaders, founders, entrepreneurs and high-responsibility individuals who want to move beyond simply working harder. Together, we explore where their attention, energy and effort will create the greatest impact — in their work and in their lives.
Together, we identify what is asking for your attention in the season you're in, what matters most, and what may be pulling you away from it.
Our work moves across five interconnected pillars. Each offers a different lens through which to understand how you're operating, where your energy is going, and what may support you in moving forward with greater clarity and impact.
The emphasis shifts according to what you're navigating and what matters most to you.
The Work
Develop the capacity to make decisions, navigate complexity and lead from a grounded place, rather than being driven by urgency, pressure or overwhelm. When you're operating at the edge of your capacity, even things you're good at can begin to cost more than they should. Over time, the cost can show up in your health, relationships, creativity and the parts of life you most want to protect.
The aim isn't to remove pressure. It's to expand your capacity to meet it without continually drawing on reserves you cannot replenish indefinitely.
Bring greater awareness to the subconscious patterns, beliefs and protective strategies influencing how you lead, make decisions, relate, delegate, take risks and receive opportunities.
This includes how you navigate relationships — responding to conflict, managing expectations, seeking approval, setting boundaries, receiving support and relating to authority. Patterns formed long before your current role can continue to shape how you show up within it.
Some patterns are obvious. Others quietly shape what you notice, pursue, avoid and believe is possible. Bringing these dynamics into view creates the possibility of responding differently, with greater awareness, flexibility and choice.
Identify where energy is being consumed unnecessarily and shift the patterns that make progress harder than it needs to be.
Sometimes the issue isn't a lack of capacity or effort. It's the internal conflict, overthinking, habitual responses or competing priorities that make the same amount of effort produce very different results.
When energy is no longer tied up in unnecessary friction, more becomes available for what matters.
Hard work is rarely the issue for leaders and high achievers. More often, the opportunity lies in recognising that not all effort creates the same impact. The way you direct your energy is shaped by more than your priorities. It's also influenced by your patterns, assumptions and habitual ways of responding.
Bringing these into awareness can open up new ways of approaching what matters, often creating greater impact without requiring more effort. Together, we look at where your attention and energy are going, what they're actually creating, and whether there's a more effective way to approach what matters.
Whether you're expanding your responsibilities, navigating a new season, pursuing a significant opportunity or deepening into the role you already inhabit, your internal capacity influences how you experience and meet it. This includes your capacity to navigate uncertainty, hold difficult conversations, work with competing perspectives, stay present through relational tension and lead people without losing yourself in the process.
We work with the patterns that shape your relationship with responsibility, visibility, uncertainty, success and change, so you can meet what matters with greater flexibility, steadiness and choice.
This is not about stepping away from the practical realities of business and leadership. It's about working with them while understanding the person navigating them.
We work directly with what is happening in your real life: the decision you're considering, the opportunity in front of you, the direction you're exploring, the relationship that requires attention, the pattern you keep encountering, or the next step you're ready to take.
My approach brings together practical mentorship, nervous system awareness, inner tension resolution and highly attuned pattern recognition.
I pay attention not only to what is happening on the surface, but to the underlying dynamics that may be shaping it — including what you may not yet be able to see from within your own perspective.
This matters because lasting change rarely comes from insight alone. It requires working at the levels where patterns are formed and maintained, then bringing what you discover into your choices, relationships and actions.
The goal is not to eliminate pressure, challenge or hard work but rather to change your relationship with them.
So that effort becomes effort, rather than struggle.
“As a leader, I knew how I wanted my interactions to feel, but I wasn't always able to show up that way in loaded moments. Something would get triggered, I'd feel a tightening in my system, and sometimes I'd glitch — even when the situation itself wasn't particularly challenging.
Working with Joanna has helped me stay grounded, trust myself and show up the way I want to. I can feel myself showing up authentically more often. Leadership courses give me concepts and skills. Working with Joanna helps me access them in the moments that matter.
I had a significant speaking opportunity for my new business that I was dragging my heels on. Old patterns of shrinking and resistance were showing up. Joanna helped me get ready to show up fully. When the day came, I delivered a strong, impactful workshop. It felt like I was crossing an important threshold.
Joanna has an incredible ability to follow me as I navigate my inner world and help me make sense of what I discover there. She has been a powerful guide as I deepen my relationship with myself and bring myself, and my business, forward in the world.
I'm finally arriving at the future I've been wanting for myself. I wholeheartedly recommend working with Joanna to anyone wanting to embrace their leadership, start a business, or show up fully for their responsibilities.”
The aim is to help you develop a deeper understanding of how you operate, greater choice in how you respond, and a more effective way of directing your energy towards what matters.
To recognise what deserves your attention, what doesn't, and where your effort can make the greatest difference. To understand when to act, when to change approach, and when something isn't yours to carry. To make decisions with greater clarity, navigate relationships with greater awareness, and move forward without creating unnecessary friction along the way.
But this work isn't only about how you perform in the roles you occupy. It's also about how you experience yourself within them.
You can be deeply committed to your work, proud of what you're building and ambitious about what's next, without having your entire experience of life consumed by the demands of creating it. You can meet responsibility without being perpetually at its mercy. You can make room for rest, relationships, creativity and the parts of yourself that exist beyond what you do.
This is about more than knowing yourself better. It's about translating that understanding into how you lead, what you create, the relationships you build and the life you want to inhabit.
The demands may not diminish. Your ambition may not change. But your relationship with both can.
The aim is not simply to help you carry more. It's to help you move through your work and your life with greater agency, capacity and choice — so you can be proud of what you're creating and present for the life you're living.
You don't need to be in crisis or have a problem to fix.
You might simply recognise that having the right person alongside you can change the quality of your thinking, the decisions you make and the way you move forward.
I'm a somatic therapist, mentor and transformational guide. My work brings together practical thinking, somatic awareness and a deep understanding of the forces that shape us as human beings — how we think, feel, relate, make decisions and move through the lives we're creating.
My own path has moved through corporate environments, business ownership, entrepreneurship, motherhood and the many personal transitions that shape a life. Alongside these experiences, I've spent years studying the human psyche and the interconnected systems that influence how we experience ourselves and the world around us.
My training spans somatic and trauma-informed therapies, nervous system work, relational and embodied approaches, and spiritual traditions. This breadth of study informs how I understand the relationship between our internal experience and the wider contexts in which we live: our histories, relationships, environments, patterns of adaptation and the forces that shape what feels possible to us.
I bring this understanding alongside practical thinking and a perceptive approach to the work. I listen not only to what is being said, but to the dynamics operating beneath it — helping people recognise where their energy is going, what may be creating unnecessary friction, and what might become possible if they approached things differently.
My intention isn't to tell someone who to be or what to do. It's to help them see more clearly, understand themselves more deeply and access more choice in how they move forward.
I work with thought leaders, business owners, social activists, CEOs, judges, change-makers, executive coaches, entrepreneurs and others who carry significant responsibility in their work and lives.
What connects many of the people I work with isn't a particular title or profession. It's a desire to do meaningful things in the world, alongside a recognition that how we lead, what we create and how we experience our lives are not separate from who we are.
I help people bring those things into greater alignment — so they can be proud of what they're building, more deliberate in how they move forward, and more present for the life they're living along the way.
I don't believe being someone who is built to hold a lot is necessarily a problem to fix. Many of us are wired for it. It's part of what calls us forward, what we're here to create and the lives we're inspired to build.
Over time, I've found myself returning to a question: How can I remain ambitious, committed and engaged without becoming consumed by the responsibility an inspired life asks me to hold?
Time and time again, I've found that life isn't always asking us to step away (although sometimes it truly is). More often, it's asking us to find a different way of meeting what we're being asked to hold.
The wind will change. The conditions will change. There will be seasons when we need to work hard, hold steady, change direction or rest. My interest is in helping people navigate those seasons without feeling as though they're constantly fighting to stay afloat.
Where you are in life has something to offer you. But that doesn't mean you're sentenced to suffer through it, or that struggle has to be the price you pay for building something meaningful.
You can be proud of what you're creating without losing yourself in the process.
You can inhabit your work, your relationships and your life — and be present for all that you're building beyond the work itself.
That is the work I do.
Welcome in.
